Andy began his career in hospitality in 1976, co-founding two publishing firms which created several industry trade journals. One of which was Directory of Incentive Travel International (DITI). Andy spent six years negotiating advertising contracts with many of the major airlines, hotels, cruiselines and advertising agencies worldwide. In 1982, DITI was acquired by Harcourt Brace Publishing and re-named Corporate Meetings and Incentives Magazine (CMI). Today, CMI is one of the most respected publications in the industry. In 1983, Andy started Pepper & Associates, a high level executive search firm which served the hospitality, medical and aerospace industries. During the next 17 years, he and his colleagues formed relationships with numerous Fortune 500 firms which included Boeing, McDonnell Douglas, Lockheed, Eli Lilly Pharmaceutical, Wyeth labs, Baxter Labs, General Electric, Westinghouse, Johnson & Johnson and numerous hotels and resorts worldwide. Andy was well known and respected for his negotiating skills and his commitment to those he worked with. In 2000, Andy joined forces with Gary Wilkos and Mike Issac and became a partner of Pinnacle Marketing Group, Inc. Two travel subsidiaries were formed. The first, Corporate Golf Planner which Andy is both CEO and President has catered to a smaller market specializing in those groups where golf is the major theme or event pertinent to those trips. The flagship division is Nationwide Meetings, in which Andy is also CEO and President. While a big believer in delegating authority, Andy continues to oversee the areas of sales, marketing, advertising and the posture of the company as it relates to the industry.
Gary Wilkos is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the hotel school. Gary attended the University on a full athletic scholarship in which he was the starting quarterback and All-American college football player. Prior to Gary’s graduation he interned at the world renowned Greenbrier where he was trained in all aspects of the hotel industry. Upon graduation Gary was employed by The Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs, CO. He demonstrated above and beyond that he was capable of achieving senior level access within the sales/convention and marketing departments. He spent 5 years at the prestigious Broadmoor which has earned the 5 star 5 diamond award since it’s inception. In 1997 Gary was contacted by The Desert Inn Hotel in Las Vegas. He was offered the position to lead the convention sales department. During this time Gary developed and implemented 5 star 5 diamond service manuals for the convention staff. He worked directly with the food and beverage, audio visual and several other departments in order to execute proper lines of communication to enhance existing service levels. In 1998, Gary joined Steve Wynn's Mirage Resort Group as a National Sales Manager. He contracted some of the largest tradeshow room blocks and worked closely with hotel executives in strengthening booking terms and conditions and maximizing convention space and sales revenue. In early 2000 Gary resigned his position with Mirage Resorts and spent the first half of 2000 implementing a business plan along with his partners Andrew Pepper and Mike Issac. Pinnacle Marketing Group, Inc. was formed and under that Corporation, both Corporate Golf Planner and Nationwide Meetings were started. As Executive Vice President, Gary is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations in the home office in Las Vegas.
